cousin

I'm here, not for myself, but because my cousin has HIV. He is as close to me as a brother. I need to know what is the best way I can support him, and help him through this.

Hi MamaKiki,
Just be there for him. that is all you can do. If he really having a hard time then he needs to see a therapist that understand lot about HIV or full blown AIDS.

My half brother is in his early 40's has full blown AIDS since he was in his 20's and he takes lot of stuff but he working and doing his normal life thing. He doesn't let AIDS affect his life any more. He learn to live healthy and live as long as he can and he still living and working.

Worriors is right on. Be there for him. Help him get imformation he needs to help himself. For myself the biggest thing I had to do was to learn about the disease itself and how I could live with and how to make it live with me.

It is nice to have a supportive family member. Thank you. If you have a way to learn more about helpful remedies and things other people have tried to treat the HIV, he will learn from you. There are a few ways of making the symptoms less severe and there maybe visualization exercises to help his energy. Best of luck in your search.

Are there any suggestions you, or anybody else has, for making the symptoms less severe, and living as long as possible with it?

Yes. There is a pillar of light that when used as a grounding cord will allow the person to let go. The most cleansing color is white and if you ask them to visualize it going down into the earth and connecting at the center like a magnet, then they can imagine all of their worries, troubles, or negative thoughts disappearing. Also, a Spiritual practice that allows help from a Master will help, one to keep in mind is Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God. Someone might teach you to sing and connect with those around you for support. If your cousin is super independent you might try suggesting a yoga class. That is all for now.
